Fallout: MSNBC Host Lawrence O’Donnell makes defamatory statements about President Trump

This week reporter Lawrence O’Donnell of MSNBC made defamatory statements against President Trump. Lawrance claims he “I made an error in judgement.” when MSNBC released an article based on an unnamed source with unknown associations. Lawrance made claims that President Trump was involved with Russian oligarchs. He further stated that the Russians had cosigned a loan for him with the Deutsche Bank. There was no proof or witnesses to corroborate any of the claims made by Lawrance and MSNBC.

Danny responded to the matter by stating that facts must be present in order to validate such damaging claims. This kind of reporting is “Hyperbole driven herald fire reporting.” said Danny. It has no place in today’s society because it is not based on facts. Danny further states that “The public deserves the truth not this kind of editorialized news.”

Furthermore, MSNBC should have been more aware of the statements their reporter are claiming. This blunder would never have occurred in the FBI, where facts are necessary before any investigations would occur. This kind of reporting will affect the credibility of MSNBC.
